Can one have too much Dwellstudio in their (baby's) life?  I'll let you answer that one, though i did feel a bit awkward when my baby son was dressed in the Gio Aqua Playsuit (cute!), with a Plus Aqua Bib on (slobber!) and lightly covered with a Gio Aqua Stroller Blanket. Too much?

The new layette collection by Dwellstudio is colorful, organic and... adds to the obsession. And? You'd win for the best baby shower gift, hands down.

If i had a girl, i'd totally go for the Gio Lemon Playsuit, love the gathered-detail at the neck!

We all like wood toys, because, then, we can at least leave them out, show them off & not hide them like the plastics. Maybe that's an impractical perfect toy world?

Whatever the case, David Weeks' wood toy objects are not only amazing design-wise, but eco-friendly (made of sustainable beech wood) and non-toxic as well . Again, check to see if the plastics can say this!

And while the David Weeks' toy objects are not intended for small children (as all the small parts move & twist and could potentially pinch!) an older child would have a grand time twisting & turning Ursa or Cubebot. Also: dignified bookshelf decor?

Singgih Kartono had me at the wood radio! A radio, so old school. Sort of expensive, and i would not let the little  kids play with it, but a true design piece that has won a multitude of awards.

I carry my babies in a sling .... for much of their 1st year of life. Even if they are chewy & chunky and weigh 20 lbs at 4 months (oh, Owen!).

Everybody has their favorite baby-carry-ing contraption. I've tried them all. My favorite? The Sakura Bloom ring sling.
