I have truly enjoyed touring the first two rooms in our Real Living series, Edie and Tommy's bedrooms! The final stop is their fantastic playroom. I love what their Mum Danni expressed about the spaces:
Edie and Tommy's bedrooms have pretty much grown with them as they have investigated and sought out new interests, especially Edie's. As a former preschool teacher, I've tried to keep in mind the 'areas' which are commonly found in classrooms: art area, quite reading area and dress-up and block area. As much as I love great design and pretty things, everything has to be functional and mostly, not precious. All of the toys and art supplies are accessible to Edie and Tommy.

A big thank you to Danni for kicking off our Real Living room tours and Mom tips!
Do you instagram? I do, so fun! Today I posted a photo of the new Earnest Effort wood baby rattles that came in.
These sweet little wood rattles were the product that inspired us to start fawn&forest over 5 years ago.... and will certainly always have a special spot in my heart.
week/end is a collection of inspirational spark & cheer for the weekend, all nestled together.

On the weekend list: As I just posted on The Weekend Waffle, not much! You know the times when you're on the non-stop GO? That has been this month and as I wrap things up - time to chill. I'm still inspired though and thinking my boys' room needs some sprucing up. Here's my inspiration for the week..Have a wonderful weekend!
If you have a child you know what a winner the cardboard box is. Tried & true. So I love this take on a cardboard box house! It's fun, functional and pretty project you could whip up in a very short amount of time.

Working within a simple color palette, Goatmilk has created a beautiful collection of clothing & underwear rich in subtle texture and thoughtful designs. I love the pointelles and stripes and sweet baby tank one pieces.
Shop the Goatmilk collection.
Ferm Living is a total winner & we're big fans here at fawn&forest. One of my favorite pieces from their new 2012 collection is the little Tigers!
Welcome to part 2 of the Remender Home Tour! Last week you got a peek into Edie's room. This week? A moment in her little brother Tommy's bedroom/nursery.
So peaceful. The white spaces are great, uncluttered. Yet, color. I love the bits of color here and there. And you know Tommy and sister Edie haul those books off the shelf on a daily basis. Peacefully lived in.
