I've been a babywear-er from the get go. I have 3 sons (oldest is 6, youngest is 2) and have happily toted them around for most of their first year of life.

The Sakura Bloom ring sling is by far my favorite sling. I love the color and fabric options and the sling itself... Oh so comfortable.

Sakura Bloom has a fun project called the Sakura Bloom Sling Diaries. One of the participants, Hither and Thither shares some adorable images of her tiny newborn in a linen Sakura Bloom.

So sweet.

real living: edie's bedroom

I'm excited to share with you Edie's bedroom, the the first in the series of our Real Rooms. 

Edie's mom Danni has thoughtfully assembled her daughter's room to be an intriguing collection of old & new. A space that is playful and cheery yet subtle. Not loud or overbearing  and I love that. This room is full of love and imagination.

I also love the real artwork in Edie's room by Ashley Goldberg.

week/end is a collection of inspirational spark & cheer for the weekend, all nestled together.

On the weekend list: drawing up plans for the playhouse/fort we're building with the boys, blueberry picking at a local farm, more popsicle making (so many fun ideas!) and birthday party planning & crafting. We're throwing a duel birthday party next weekend for our 2 younger boys. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

yellow stripes & oeuf cribs

Stripes are nice and yellow stripes, even better! I was inspired by 2 nurseries with yellow stripes -- one feature wall and one amazing ceiling!

Which room do you prefer? The first room has a subtle, eclectic color palette while the second room is very defined - yellow and grey! Both rooms however incorporate animals without being theme-ish.

And? Both rooms feature an Oeuf crib. A Oeuf Robin crib in the 1st nursery and a grey Oeuf Sparrow crib in the 2nd.

Have you ever noticed that if you put food on a stick... the kids love it? True!

Just in time for today's 4th of July celebrations, fruit ...on a stick. Patriotic bananas, blueberries and raspberries and watermelon pops. Really clever, right?!
