When Dwellstudio debuts their new textile collection you generally want to shrink to size as the patterns are just so fun! Dwellstudio's new Fall 2012 collection does not disappoint! The patterns are fun & fresh... something both Mom & the kids will like.

My favorite 2 are Galaxy & Garland - so great! Both would work well with current room designs, giving the space a simple update with a new duvet. The Fall '12 collection also includes a classic Dinosaurs and sweet Butterfly Robin

party nursery

Such a great vibe in this modern nursery, don't you think? With the honeycomb party balls on the ceiling, it feels very fun, very party-ish without being theme-y.

wood illustrations

This is a fun idea. Create an intriguing dramatic scene with the kids using paper glued onto balsa wood found at the craft store. Balsa wood is easily cut with an exacto knife (your job) and paper can be cut out & glued on with a glue stick.

diy baby swing

Are you brave enough to make a DIY baby swing? After reading Pinja Colada's excellent tutorial, I think I am! And her pattern for a simple, hang in the doorway baby swing is easy to do once supplies are gathered.

Given the right elements (a nice sunny day in the shade!) this fabric baby swing would be lovely outside and once no longer in use, would be the easiest baby swing to store, ever.

a twin stokke nursery

I love when a nursery space is just so... effortless.. designed with ease.  Playful, yet simple. And of course, not too matchy matchy .. you know?

This twin nursery is just that. But more. Because it's for both a boy and a girl, the color palette is variegated.  It's comfortable, personal yet pulled together.

an amazing magritte party!

This is seriously one of the coolest kids parties ever -- a Magritte party by Erika of Mikodesign. An incredibly inspiring concept (1 part Magritte, 1 part detective mystery), color palette and use of imagery. Mustaches & clouds!

I love how this birthday party was a working, collaborative effort between mom and the 9 year old birthday girl, spending hours and thoughtful attention in all the details. I am sure this party was a blast!
