One project my budding writers like to do is makes lists. Simple & direct writing that can be accomplished in a short period of time. Simply print out this beautifully illustrated "count your blessings" sheet, set the kids up with some pens & pencils an let them count out their blessings.

I love this play-project. It has no beginning, no end and no expectation. It's quiet and inward, giving space for your kids to think & play.

The Autumn in Felt project by Joya of Rajovilla is brilliant in it's simplicity. By adding seasonal Autumn felt prompts to your child's current toys (wood blocks are perfect!) it extends their imagination.
