Did you check out the August issue of Pregnancy & Newborn Magazine? The editors did a fun product pick article titled Comparative Literature using The very Hungry Caterpillar and Green Eggs & Ham as their inspiration and included a few products from fawn&forest. Very clever and I like what they picked!
Here's a new and vintage inspired room by the lovely Malin from Sweden.
Thanks for playing along, Malin. I love all the extra details and colour.
"A few months after Lennon (3 years) was born, we moved from a rental apartment to a larger condo with a small garden. We are looking for our dream house. I love retro, and Martin (Lennon's daddy) likes it more strict and scandinavian. We tried to make a room that Lennon can play in. Everything in it is for him to use. Lennon loves his room. He likes to play in it. The stuff is a mix from my and Martin's old toys and new. We like the mix. We like to reuse and I love flea markets"

Ferm Living has just released their Fall/Winter '13 Collection. It's a playful addition to their current product selection, and quite clever at that. New wallpaper, wallstickers, pillows, bedding and accessories.
It will be available for pre-order by the end of the week. Shop here!
I'm so excited to share this wonderful space from Jonya's amazing house in Beaverton, Oregon. I think Jonya and I share such similar design ideas, and can completely relate to the minimal and clean esthetic of Julian's room. That and our affection for the Oeuf Toddler Bed.
Thanks so much for joining in on the 'little rooms', Jonya.

I love love loved playing market, flowershop and hotel as a kid. I would have gone nuts over a little "play market" set up like this. So clever & so much creativity.
This project reminds me of the Oeuf Toy Store. A bit more of an investment piece but the idea is the same. I would just add in some price tags and a cash register! For the complete DIY & printables visit Nido.
I love this perfect little shot of inspiration from Scandinavian Deko. The light wood perfectly softens the black & white elements. A black & white color palette for a kids room is lovely but I often feel it's too harsh without the organic element of wood. And that bit of green? It's perfect.

Last week I shared the new Elephant Crib by Oeuf. The room is so beautifully styled and photographed that I wanted to share more of the space! Photographed Julie Ansiau in collaboration with Oeuf, the room is mature, yet witty. Bright & simple, I love it.
