It's fun, colorful. Inspiring assemblage? I think so.
This is a fun playroom, spotted in an upbeat Los Angeles home tour on A Cup of Jo. I have a strange appreciation with how normal it is, for example the train table. It errors on the side of being a major eye sore, but it works. It makes the little kid happy. No hiding it.
And just like Crew's room, chalkboard walls are a total hit, don't you think?
I love Minieco projects & printable, they've got the whole simple/minimal/creative/clever craft thing down pat.
Thankfully, the directions on how to make your own custom wordsearch wrap are spelled out, just in case your gift recipient's name is not named Seth. Ha!
Black walls! I'm in love with these black walls that 6 year old, Crew gets to chalk on daily. This room in Brittany's 1950's remodelled house in North Carolina, is both playful and sophisticated and just open to adventure. I'm a big fan of teepees in the bedroom and this house in habit one is perfect for a wild thing.
You can find more inspiring pictures from Brittany here. And some of Crew's awesome wall art.

This week's ' little spaces' tour takes us all the way to beautful Holland, at the lovely home of Laura Short. Laura's son Magnus' room is so colourfully curated, hitting the oh so perfect balance of new/vintage/minimal.
thank you, Laura

I love simple knitting project and am totally drawn to these sweet lamb softies! Even I, master of knitting squares, could confidently attempt a lamb, knit in the garter stitch.
So sweet and lovable and quite Easter-ish don't you think?

The Oeuf Perch Bunkbed has been on my must-have list for quite some time! My older 2 sons are now bunkbed age and I look forward to surprising them with the Perch. It's all the rage to sleep on a bunkbed when you're seven!
Plus I love the configuration options, loads of possibilites with the bottom space.
