A few of my favorite Halloween projects this year -- so simple yet imaginative. Fun!
Chelsea from Sissy & Marley just emailed me their latest project: Hermione's Room, a sweet little nursery with a richly layered monochromatic color palette. Chelsea and her team have created such a harmonious space with the use the grey, silver, charcoal and white ... faint touches of violet with rich texture & subtle patterns.
The wallpaper is designed by Sissy & Marley, new for Jill Malek.

If you're wanting a crib that's ultra modern & unconventional, the Ubabub Pod Crib is your match. The Australian designed Pod Crib has a well, rather pod-ish oval shape with clear side panels and comes complete with a crib mattress and toddler bed conversion kit.
It's fun, a bit funky and undeniably cozy.
The lovely Ursula, from Finland shares how to do a pink room right. Sweet Sofia's room is adorned with all the things she loves, and it shows. I love the extra little details and the fact there's the teepee hideaway for quite book reading.
Thanks so much for sharing, Ursula.

Did you check out the August issue of Pregnancy & Newborn Magazine? The editors did a fun product pick article titled Comparative Literature using The very Hungry Caterpillar and Green Eggs & Ham as their inspiration and included a few products from fawn&forest. Very clever and I like what they picked!
Here's a new and vintage inspired room by the lovely Malin from Sweden.
Thanks for playing along, Malin. I love all the extra details and colour.
"A few months after Lennon (3 years) was born, we moved from a rental apartment to a larger condo with a small garden. We are looking for our dream house. I love retro, and Martin (Lennon's daddy) likes it more strict and scandinavian. We tried to make a room that Lennon can play in. Everything in it is for him to use. Lennon loves his room. He likes to play in it. The stuff is a mix from my and Martin's old toys and new. We like the mix. We like to reuse and I love flea markets"
