30 Days of the Inspired Family, Day 10: Newspaper Forts

November inevitably brings a lot of rain, grey and otherwise bad weather for most of the country. In Portland we have rain days on end.  Mom must be clever for indoor play activities!

I love these paper forts ... as they require so many skills (math! thinking! creative problem solving! planning! imagination!) that is both rewarding and fun for your child.

Simply hand your kiddo a pile of newspaper, show them how to roll and they're set for hours of play.
