What an amazing/simple and cheerful party set-up. Perfect for those casual, quick family parties. Two of my boys have summer birthdays and I like to throw 1 big party in July for them both. However, to make each child feel special on their big day, I decorate and make a fuss for each of them.

And this party by Susanna Vento is spot on party inspiration. The aqua napkin in the cup makes me smile.

I absolutely love this project idea. DIY cross stitch for kids -- kids draw their own pattern on graph paper and get stitching! And the cardboard is fantastic.

project, a winter walk in the forest package

As we're on the last stretch of Winter I'm inspired to at least enjoy these cold days with a wonderful idea: a Winter Walk package by my friend Joya.  Simply gather Sculpey clay into a tidy package of kraft paper with a dot fabric bow (irresistible!) and give to someone you love. I think my kids would love a package like this with a promise of a long woodsy walk...

The extra special part of this gift? That fantastic white painting on the inside of the wrap. Joya is certainly a source of creativity & talent.  You can see more of Joya & her creativity on her blog and Instagram

This room is fantastic! A shared bedroom & play space of Rafaella & Bathasar, the room is full of character, charm and details. And a lot of Ferm Living. But, can you tell? Ferm Living masterfully blends in .. yet always shows up as the "fun guy" at the party.

My favorite element of this space? Those fluorescent orange dots on the wall. Sort of odd... yet perfect edgy/charming.
