I love when I find a nursery that has a theme ... but it's not over done, you know? The drama of the deep blue-ish charcoal walls, the warm wood and amazing wall painting all speak of Nautical without really going there.

It's fun. And I love how color is used. Bright but subtly.

tripp trapp

The Stokke Tripp Trapp is one of my favorite highchairs. So versatile. Always looks fantastic and has a reasonable pricepoint.

And? This dining space is great. The Dad looks a bit muffled, but really. A lovely photo showing baby at the table... and love the kid drawings on the wall!

Two words that come to mind when looking  Joy Deangdeelert Cho's (of Oh Joy!) nursery  is: eclectic and enthusiastic. It's a happy, mis-matchy nursery that's upbeat and comfortable.

And? The copper dots on the walls are loads of fun and are perhaps my favorite element in the room.

The images above are from a room that Tamara designed for the Hamptons Designer Showhouse.  The color palette of deep charcoal and coral are such a natural compliment to the Uptown Collection - crib & changer/dresser.

real living: tommy's bedroom

Welcome to part 2 of the Remender Home Tour! Last week you got a peek into Edie's  room. This week? A moment in her little brother Tommy's bedroom/nursery.

So peaceful. The white spaces are great, uncluttered. Yet, color. I love the bits of color here and there. And you know Tommy and sister Edie haul those books off the shelf on a daily basis.  Peacefully lived in.
