Cape Cod Rose Crib is constructed from select hardwoods, independently finished and then hand rubbed giving it a unique sense of craftsmanship. Different species of wood have their own inherent qualities, therefore finishes may vary slightly.

All of our furniture pieces are benchmade using quailty craftsmanship and traditional woodworking techniques such as mortise & tenon joinery, rail and stile construction as well as inlaid raised panels. The term "benchmade" is used when an item is individually built from start to finish on the bench of a highly skilled carpenter. Artisans hand turn on a lathe all of the posts and legs for each piece of furniture. In an era of mass production, imports and computerized machinery, this is an art form seldom used by most furniture manufacturers.
