newport cottages cape cod rose crib

The Cape Cod Roses Crib by Newport Cottages is truly charming. Hand carved appliques adorn this beautiful crib. It comes with the Cresent Rose applique shown, or choose an applique that suits your decor. The Cape Cod Crib sits upon delicate turned legs.

All of our furniture pieces are benchmade using quailty craftsmanship and traditional woodworking techniques such as mortise & tenon joinery, rail and stile construction as well as inlaid raised panels. The term "benchmade" is used when an item is individually built from start to finish on the bench of a highly skilled carpenter. Artisans hand turn on a lathe all of the posts and legs for each piece of furniture. In an era of mass production, imports and computerized machinery, this is an art form seldom used by most furniture manufacturers.
