adrift vessel mobile
A complex interplay of form and light gives Vessel mobile a kinetic energy, by Adrift. A variation on the Camber mobile, its three curvilinear forms float parallel to the horizon, prominently displaying the rich wood grain.
Made of an ultra-thin two-ply veneer, the pieces move with the slightest air current. They are cut by a computer-controlled router, then deftly formed and refined by hand in a thoughtful blend of high- and low-tech craft.
- Available in maple or walnut veneer.
- Linked by clear monofilament and ball-bearing swivels.
- Finished with a non-toxic blend of beeswax, carnauba wax and orange oil.
- Arrives with ceiling hook and adjustable length of hanging line.
- Intended for interior installation only.

adrift mobiles
Founded in 2005 by Brian Schmitt, Adrift strives to produce mobiles that add a captivating, yet quiet personality to an environment. All of the mobiles are designed and carefully crafted by Brian in his workshop in Sacramento. These mobiles showcase Brian's minimalist aesthetic, craftsmanship and interest in sustainable materials. His finesse is revealed during assembly, as each mobile must be individually balanced due to subtle variances in the natural materials.
