PSNY's highly-skilled artisans don’t use chemical starches in the crumpled-linen process. Instead, a natural starch made from the Konjak plant is used. At finishing, the linen is carefully crumpled in hot water. The Avant Gradation fabric has shading in a lengthwise direction, which is a very unique technique. Achieving gradation pattern without colors unnaturally getting mixed is the result of artisan's skill.
