designer bio:
Jenny Argie & Andrew Thornton
Jenny Argie and Andrew Thornton combined their two disciplines in fine art and architecture to develop a playful, creative process that is the backbone of Argington, the couple's modern children's furniture company created in 2002. Each piece was borne out of necessity. A question asked an and ultimately a problem solved. Mindful that we can no longer act in a way that puts our planet at risk, Argington’s furniture is made conscientiously to minimize its environmental impact. The newest Argington collection will be born in these challenging times. Jenny and Andrew, like so many other "creative’s" are nesting with new ideas about what is necessary and what is relevant. With a new baby girl and two young boys around the house and design studio, the couples own inspirational environment continues to evolve.

This item ships standard UPS Ground unless it is shipping together with the Argington dresser or changing table. In that case it will ship via freight carrier. Freight shipments are for items too large and/or heavy to ship via UPS/FedEx.
The freight delivery process is as follows:
(1) Once your merchandise arrives at the freight delivery agents warehouse, they will call you in order to set up a delivery appointment. Most freight delivery companies offer appointment windows (usually 2-5 hours), usually between 8:00am and 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Specific appointment delivery times can be requested through the carrier but aren't guaranteed. Someone will have to be at the residence to receive and inspect the shipment.
(2) The products will be delivered via curbside delivery to the driveway or curb outside of the delivery address provided upon purchase. It is the customers responsibility to transport the product(s) inside, however several truck freight companies offer additional services to help move merchandise from the truck into your home or office.
Additional Services
When your merchandise begins shipment from the manufacturer warehouse, we will email you the tracking information and you can contact the freight shipper directly to inquire about additional shipping services. If you would like to use additional delivery services, it is the customers responsibility to directly pay the freight delivery carrier for any additional services, although not all freight delivery services offer this.
Damages
Please be sure to inspect the package(s) at the time of delivery. If the box has ANY damage, or if there is any reason you are concerned with its packaging or delivery, please write, “Product Damaged” clearly and legibly on the form the freight delivery agent asks you to sign. This insures that if there are any damages, the issues can be resolved quickly and your replacement will be shipped out as soon as possible.
