When choosing a chair for your baby’s nursery, you are probably deciding between a rocker and a glider. Rockers typically have a more intense rocking motion and match most nursery themes. Gliders are more compact, which is ideal if you have limited space, and most come with a matching ottoman. Regardless of which one you pick, there are important features to look for before you decide. Look for cushioned arms, a back high enough to support your head, a seat cushioned with dense foam or springs, extra room to move around and get comfortable, and durable fabric that can endure months of spit-ups and spills.
