Ducduc stays true to its collaborative design philosophy, ducduc's four founding partners hail from diverse backgrounds, ensuring a multi-disciplinary approach to running ducduc. ducduc's founding team is supported by a design and management team whose members have experience and education in furniture design, graphic design, textile design and manufacturing, marketing, and finance. Regardless of background, all ducduc members participate in the conception and development of ducduc's designs, forming a truly collaborative design house. Being environmentally smart does not have to be hard, but it does require supervision. Ducduc owns their own New England based manufacturing so they know that their hardwoods are sustainably harvested from regional forests as to minimize their carbon footprint. The Ducduc factory employs a lean manufacturing system that dramatically reduces energy requirements and waste. All finishes are non-toxic and Hazardous Air Pollutant free (HAPs). Ducduc products are made of 100% hardwood and do not contain any MDF or Particle board.
