Designed by Josef Hartwig. This is an original model designed by the Bauhaus. Naef is the authorized manufacturer and produces this Bauhaus chess men according to the original design. The first production of this set started in 1981. This game of chess with its clean lines is typical of timeless Bauhaus style. Josef Hartwig's chessmen, designed in 1923, have characteristically reduced forms. Cubes, cylinders and balls lead you move by move to checkmate. Not for children under 3 years old. Includes both Chessmen and Chessboard.
Made of wood and non-toxic finish. board measures 36 x 36 x 1.2 cm King is 2" tall.
