Baby and Children’s mattresses typically use materials such as vinyl/PVC and polyurethane foam which release questionable chemicals over time. These materials + chemicals have been eliminated in the Naturepedic Quilted Organic Cotton Deluxe Mattress. Quilting is on both sides of the mattress.

A crib mattress made with organic cotton promotes a healthy, chemical-free sleeping environment. Cotton is an ideal filling material that is both natural + renewable. Organic Cotton is unbleached, undyed, and grown without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilizers. The Quilted Deluxe is also hypoallergenic and does not contain wool or latex. Heavy-duty orthopedic innerspring + firm flat surface provide ideal support in accordance with pediatrician and CPSC firmness recommendations. In addition, heavy-duty border rods add strong side, edge, and center support for all models. Designed for a snug fit.

Fire Protection: Cotton does not burst into flames or release deadly fumes when ignited (as compared with polyurethane foam in a conventional mattress). Exclusive Flamebreak™ fire protection features a non-toxic fire barrier system based on baking soda and silica. Meets and exceeds all Federal and State flammability standards.

The Quilted Organic Cotton Deluxe is not waterproof and is available in 3 sizes: crib, twin and full.
