The canvas encasement is the perfect fit for a latex mattress, durable and soft to the touch. The result is a firm and supportive base layer (ILD rating of 28), perfect for a restful night's sleep. Wool's natural fire retardant properties mean no chemicals in this mattress. For a little extra softness, use in combination with a topper to fine-tune your ideal sleep system.

The mattress is designed to rest on a breathable surface. We recommend placing it atop a slatted bed frame or, if placed on the floor, a roll of slats. Make sure your mattress has what it needs for proper support.
